I think that my monster sometimes leaves me alone. On those days, everything is normal and it’s almost like I don’t have diabetes at all. But most days it shadows me. At school my blood sugar will be high or low all the time. Whenever I want to go for a walk, I need to eat something or I’ll go low. The monster wakes me up constantly, ruining my sleep. At parties my blood sugar goes high, making me feel sick. It feels like everyday this monster follows me around, laughing at me.

We need to defeat this monster so all the young children and future lives that will also live with this monster won’t have to any longer.
